Two Worlds II, sequel to the successful 2007 title Two Worlds, will be published in 2Q10 by SouthPeak Games in the North America, South America, Europe and Oceana regions by Topware Interactive.

Returning players to the fantasy world of Antaloor, the title promises both hardcore and casual gamers an engaging and robust game experience through the use of a brand new engine and gameplay mechanics developed specifically for the Xbox 360.

Two Worlds II will place the player once again at the helm of the unnamed hero who, when rescued from prison by his former enemies, finds the world of Antaloor has been forever changed in their absence by the influence of the implacable despot Gandohar and his plot to throw the world into a state of irreversible decay.  The actions of the player will directly influence the demise or reconstruction of this shattered planet.

  1. There's an interesting symmetry to a title like 2 Worlds 2.

  2. How can I be excited about a sequel to a game that was pretty much an abysmal failure.

  3. Agreed. I rented this once, it looked terrible. Even on a stard-def tv it looked like a failed game from an era past. Not to mention the bugs. THE BUGS.

Oh, and worst fire effect EVAR.

  4. Murray B

Two Worlds was an excellent game after it was patched. It is my third favorite Xbox 360 title after Oblivion and Fable II.

Like many other RPGs it takes many hours to develop a character so it is pointless to rent it.

The next version promises to be one of the best traditional RPGs on the 360 and I can't wait to get a copy.

  5. Blah blah blah. Two world continued to suck after it was patched. The graphics were still bland, the horse controls were still broken. The fact that dying continued to generally be the best way to win a tough battle continued. I'm not even really sure what the patch actually fixed if anything at all. The game was like a mix between Oblivion and Fable. But it was a mix that took all the bad ideas from both of those games and put them together into a game that's soul purpose was to exploit bad game design.

Ugly graphics, poor controls, possibly the worst voice acting that ever existed and offered up no practical challenge at all. Epic Fail. The only reason it sold as well as it did was a well placed marketing campaign and some impressive screen shots that made it look like an Oblivion killer from the outside. Then you opened the door got clubbed over the head and stuck in the oven before you knew what hit you.
