TECMO announced recently that their new Quantum Theory IP will be making its debut on both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 during spring of 2010.  This post-apocalyptic 3rd person shooter features a constantly evolving 3D environment and the ability to team up with the computer controlled partner to perform deadly dual attacks.

Another interesting mechanic is that most of the game takes place in a huge tower; the players are ascending the tower throughout the game, even as it crumbles around them.

Quantum Theory also features four online multiplayer modes that allow the players to reenter the world of “Cocoon” in a variety of different ways.
