EA Mobile announces Command & Conquer Red Alert for iPhone

Today EA Mobile announced an iPhone version of C&C Red Alert. According to their Facebook profile, the game will be available on October 23rd and will work on all iPhone models as well as the iPod Touch.

Playable factions are limited to Soviet and Allies, with cameo appearances from Tanya and Natasha. There are fifteen levels over two campaigns, and a new “easy-to-use” combat system that is optimized for touch-screen play.

    Meh, it's EA, they'll probably port it to Android sooner or later in an attempt to rake in more piles of cash. After all, Android isn't locked to one hardware manufacturer, one device, or one carrier.

    Not particularly, if there's one thing I've learned about game manufacturers... well it's that Bioware makes some of the buggiest games ever. But if there's TWO things I've learned, the second is that you should NEVER rely on EA for anything.
