Changes to Icrontic’s TF2 server

Well, I finally did it. Icrontic’s map pack has been updated, we have all our awesome maps back (including Warpath and SnoFort), I customized the Welcome screen, and 5-minute Sudden Death is back on. I also took the idle time limit down to 4 minutes (better run to the bathroom or go spectator) and reduced capture-the-flag matches to 3 captures.

The address is still 208.167.243.96:27015, so jump on in and add us to your favorites if you haven’t already.

    The "customized" splash screen kind of looks like... well... plain. Other than that, everything's allsomes.

    Didn't know what would happen when I used HTML, so it's really just a test. I didn't want to boot everyone from the server again to keep trying new versions.

    So, I guess the issues with TF2 which were messing up our server settings and stuff have been fixed?

    If by "fixed" you mean "ignored until Valve probably fixed it" then yes.

    I just remember that after one of the updates, we were having a lot of trouble keeping the server up, and sometimes it would get stuck repeating the same three levels if left alone, among other issues... I haven't really played since then, so I wasn't sure if that stuff got fixteded.

    We haven't experienced those problems since switching datacenters.

    I started getting back into TF2 now that work and home schedules are a bit better. I was out for about 2 months. I'll be online tonight and definitively tomorrow!!
