AMD invites PC gamers to party at the City by the Bay
AMD’s been cooking up some very cool stuff, and if you were at QuakeCon you might have already seen a sneak peek.
On the evening of September 10th in San Francisco, AMD would like to invite fans to join us for the unveiling of a new visual PC experience. Basically, I can’t say exactly what you’re going to see there, but I can tell you that we’ll be holding a big party with food, drink and tunes, very cool demos of unreleased games, incredible hardware set-ups you have to see to believe and a lot more.

For any dedicated PC gamer in the San Francisco bay area this sounds like a can’t miss opportunity. One has to fathom that it has to do with AMD’s upcoming line of Evergreen graphics products, significant primarily because they will be the first to offer full functionality with Microsoft’s upcoming Direct X 11 API. Sources indicate that these cutting edge graphics products will be available prior to the Windows 7 launch, some sources even indicating that they could be available by the end of this month.
Rumor has it that AMD is pulling out all the stops, saying the venue for the event will knock our collective socks off. So if you are in the Bay area, like free food and drinks, and cutting edge computer graphics you owe it to yourself to contact Monica, get the details and attend. Let them know Cliff sent ya.
